Check for X-ray facilities. When choosing a dentist or clinic, consider whether they have on-site X-ray imaging — you’ll most likely need an X-ray before and after treatment. If they don’t, you’ll have to get it done elsewhere, which is time-consuming and costly. A popular, well-organised option for dental X-rays is the Dr. M. Bagheri clinic on Alley 10 of Shahid Fatemi Street.
Dental treatment in Qum can be pricey, but is very reasonable compared with many Western countries. As a guide: a cavity filling is about $25, a root canal around $50, a tooth extraction about $15, and a tooth implant starts at around $200.
